1. Our Commitment to Privacy
Welcome to MeetCalc.com ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our core calculator tool is anonymous. We do not see, save, or store the salary or meeting data you enter into the calculator.
2. Information We Collect
While the calculator itself does not store personal data, we do collect certain information to run and improve our website:
Data Processing for Analytics
We use a custom, privacy-first analytics system that operates in two distinct modes depending on your consent status:
Scenario A: Visitor has NOT provided consent (Default)
- Data Collected: Page URL, generic device type (e.g., "Mobile"), browser language, and referring website.
- Method: We use "Anonymous Mode" tracking. We expressly disable access to your screen resolution and local storage. We do not generate a persistent ID. Your IP address is processed transiently to deliver the analytics script but is not logged or stored.
- Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We have a legitimate business interest in measuring basic audience volume and ensuring our site functions on different device types.
Scenario B: Visitor HAS provided consent
- Data Collected: All of the above, plus Screen Resolution, Timezone, and a Unique Client ID (Cookie).
- Method: We use "Standard Mode" tracking which utilizes a persistent cookie to analyze user behavior over time.
- Legal Basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
Important: We never collect or store the salary or meeting data you enter into the calculator.
Other Information We Collect
- Contact Information: If you contact us via our form, we collect your name and email address solely to respond to your enquiry.
